Cost Increases

On average building materials have increased by 23% in just a single year!
MDF has gone up by 52%, timber has gone up by 30%, copper is up by 20% and lead flashing around 31%.

The cost of labour has also risen in the UK as a result of Brexit as European labour has decreased by 42%.

It estimated that around 80% of UK properties could be underinsured with around half a million high value residential properties at risk.
In commercial property it is estimated that the value of underinsurance is around £340 billion!

What is the desktop service? 

The desktop service is designed to work out how much it would cost to rebuild your property.
It is done without requiring a site visit and so can be done whenever without inconveniencing you.
You will receive a comprehensive report into the cost of rebuilding which will inform you on how much it would take to rebuild you property which you can then use in conjunction with your insurance provider to make sure you aren’t underinsured.

Our partnership with RCA means that you only have to pay £137.50 for the assessment as opposed to £180 by going directly.
